India has developed an intensive focus on dealing with its energy security challenge, which has emerged as a constraint on the Asian giant’s industrial competitiveness.
The Ministry of External Affairs joint secretary and spokesperson Vishnu Prakash said the country is focused on increasing its energy capacity, as well as other infrastructure, such as roads, ports, airports and telecommunications, the lack of which was limiting the economy’s growth and development aspirations.
